Global Tape Forum respects the privacy of visitors to this website, whether or not they are members of Global Tape Forum. Personal data provided to Global Tape Forum while visiting the site may be collected and stored.  Personal data will be processed only if such processing is compatible with the purpose of collecting personal data as set out below. 

1.1 What does Global Tape Forum do with your data?
If you voluntarily provide your data in order to be kept up-to-date on certain Global Tape Forum information and/or activities, the data you provide will be used only for that purpose.

Your data will be used:

  • for our membership management, and/or
  • to keep you abreast of information that is of interest and relevant and to offer our services in accordance with the aims of our association.

The personal data collected will not be sold or made available to third parties, except in special circumstances, such as where obliged by law. 

Global Tape Forum has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to secure personal data against loss or unlawful processing. 

In accordance with the Wet Bescherming Persoonsgegevens (WBP) (personal data protection act) and article 3 of the Vrijstellingsbesluit (exemption decision), Global Tape Forum is exempted from notifying the College bescherming persoonsgegevens (personal data protection agency) of data stored.

1.2 Your rights
