With Afera, CATIA, JATMA, PSTC and TAAT as its charter members, the Global Tape Forum represents the world adhesive tape industry well.

The benefits are far-reaching: more support and influence in terms of environmental practices and other regulatory issues, simplified processes for developing globally harmonised test methods, more frequent and even exchange of valid market data, and exchange of information regarding industry/business practices worldwide. The Forum aims to formalise a global agreement, encourage global thinking, increase knowledge exchange and create a unified message from the world tape industry.

Hosted by CATIA, the 7th GTF and GTMC Meetings took place on 24-26 April 2024 in Shanghai, China. The 8th set of Meetings will be hosted by JATMA at Hamamatsucho Convention Hall in Tokyo, Japan, 17-19 November 2026. In the interim, a Pre-Meeting of the GTF and GTMC was held virtually on 8 January 2026.
